In 2024, the Málaga French Film Festival celebrated its 30th anniversary, and once again, they entrusted us with creating their entire visual identity.
This festival represents three decades of continuous growth and evolution. For this special anniversary, we wanted to focus on that very growth.
We portrayed it through the personification—the soul—of the festival, taking a giant step toward future goals.
The character is placed in a dynamic perspective, full of personality, with an animated, festive, and confident expression—stepping out of a film frame, symbolizing the bridge between cinema and reality.
This year, we invite the audience to Traverse la Fiction to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Málaga French Film Festival—a francophone cinema experience that pushes the boundaries of imagination, bringing viewers closer to films that make us feel free and dream, even if just for a moment.
This edition was marked by the presence of the great actress Juliette Binoche, who received the festival’s 2024 Honorary Award—one of the most memorable moments in its history. The statuette she held was the 3D character created for this year’s poster.
