Slanted Publishers, a German magazine focused on design, illustration, typography, and photography, invited us to collaborate on its issue #34, which is centered on Europe. This edition offers a critique of a vibrant and multi-faceted Europe set against the backdrop of a continent marked by nationalistic sentiments, right-wing populism, and self-centered politics.

The emergence of far-right and populist political parties in some countries has led to the implementation of drastic measures. These parties refuse to assist migrants rescued in the Mediterranean. Moreover, they strive to keep migration in the spotlight and are quick to portray newcomers as a security threat to secure votes.
